Going back to the original topic, the song is very sweet...thanks 'ilikeshade' for the original post.
I wasn't speaking of age. You were comparing apples and oranges. I was speaking of bodies of work. If that's short sighted, then so be it. I stand by what I have said in this thread.
but aren't you also... when you compare Kenya to McCarthy..........there's a huge age difference, meaning that McCarthy has had a much longer period of time to accumulate that "body of work"...........................................................raven
Are we discussing the same two people??? I was talking about Kanye and McCartney. You can have a large body of work at a young age or a career that spans 50 years or more. It's all in what is accomplished. She said it all equaled out between the two of them. I differed and still do. As for Kenya and McCarthy, those two have no bodies of work. LOL.
"Kenya" and "McCarthy!"

RainCityGirl,
I've seen him 19 times since 2005-doing the sound check for 17 of those concerts.
Like Paul or dislike him, you can't deny his contribution to music for the past 50+ years-he's done everything from The Beatles, to writing symphonies, to children's books and songs, and so much more.
He is so respected in the music world, and everyone loves him.
How many can claim that?

I cannot believe the legendary Sir Paul McCartney would stoop this low, very, very sad!!!

I guess that makes the Tweets a little more believable!

Certainly not Kanye. He'll be lucky if they remember him 5 years from now.

He will probably be more remembered for being one of Kim's spouses.

Because he wants to stay relevant and young and cool and hip and well I feel he sold out.
Very funny. Sir Paul sells out concert venues world wide. He does not need that idiot Kanye to be relevent.

Tony Bennett is rich and famous but he remains current and sells millions of CD's because of his collaborations with people like Lady GaGa and other pop artists.
