On the other hand, it's easy to remember posters who are kind and compassionate. There are a lot of really nice people here.
It happens at leat twice a week @Noel7

Oh, yes. But seriously, it's no crime to look to see who hearts really nasty attacks, especially when it's done over and over. Apparently it never occured to them anyone would find out.
I check @Noel7 and most of the hearts don't surprise me at all. Have you noticed that when a certain poster is called out for her passive-aggressive behavior she acts surprised but she is one of the biggest mud slingers out there?

You nailed it, and I have. To bad ignoring people like that doesn't always work.

Hi skuggles ![]()
I'll tell you one thing... I've never called her out before and this has been going on for a couple of years. Jane is right, it's a pattern of passive aggressive behavior and veiled or coded comments.
If you don't like someone, you have the option of ignoring them, but years of tracking them down is bizarre.

Human nature is interesting. I have been a hypocrite at times. But right now I am going to point out this thread. Posters writing what others do while in fact they engage in that very same behavior themselves.

There used to be a poster (inactive now) who was admired by many for their job-related expertise and expansive vocabulary. As a relatively new poster, I could see that this poster took issue with anyone who offered ideas contrary to their opinion and acted like the forum police for threads in a particular forum. They especially liked to use the dictionary as a battering ram. I saw very little push back. I poked the bear once and was instantly diagnosed by this person as a "passive-aggressive jerk."
I was fairly new at posting, and this experience set me back; I quit posting for awhile. But then I saw a pattern where this same diagnosis was applied by said poster to others who had a differing opinion and they didn't slink away! So I got some thicker skin and started participating again. This was my first posting experience, and I guess I had to mature as a board participant. It was a good lesson for me. And yes, I tried not to let this make me automatically dismiss this poster and would even heart a post now and then. But we were not besties, lol.

Yes, I guess I could since I haven't used pet names as passwords, but wouldn't feel right discussing my child's name. Oops, let it known I have an only! It's hard to be guarded here. You never know...

Now that's a funny (and accurate) way to put it !!! LOL ![]()

I'm still just figuring out the hearts and notification system. I hadn't realized that there was a heart tally or that you could see who gives you hearts! I have a lot to learn.

There are a handful of posters whose responses I could write for them🙂
