I've tried kale chips and thought they were disgusting.

One thing though--even though the smoothie tastes deliscious, the color is horrible to look at. Mine do not come out a bright, pretty green like they do on QVC during the Vitamix shows. It looks kind of muddy brown. As long as it tastes great, though, I don't worry about how it looks.
ITA, the color can be a little off-putting.

I don't eat it but I do put it into any juice or smoothies that I make for myself.

I thought I was the only one who didn't like them!

Yeah, once I settle into collecting and trying kale recipes, my next venture is quinoa!
Again, you may have to plot how to serve in secret! I usually make in my rice cooker using chicken broth, then add a cup or two to a soup or a chili. Once again, nobody notices.

Try the TJ's frozen veggie combo...kale, carrots, quinoa, sweet potatoes. I just finished up last night's leftovers.

Ugh no. My friend's daughter loves them and she keeps trying with me and her mother but we are having none of it. She makes her kale chips with the ruffled kale. Still gross. Blech.

I don't like it as a cooked vegetable, but love it in a smoothy (apple, kale, frozen raspberries) have also made kale chips which are okay.
