That's what I thought you were talking about, @Tweety68 . I just didn't understand the reference to wanting better deals and customer service. If their holiday pitch doesn't sit well with you, then nothing else matters. I hope that makes some sense. It's hardly a big deal, but I just didn't see the relevance.

That's another odd thing.  What's up with people saying  "Happy Good Friday"?  I can't recall it from past years but this year, I heard that from several people.  Even my boss whose father and brother are pastors in local churches!

@chrystaltree ,yes i think some people do not understand religious holidays are often not a big party thing. I would think This holiday is considered a day of reflection.You are so right it is odd..
