Here's the situations:

1) Passover is tomorrow. It's a BIG deal. My husband usually does a lot of the work but this time he can't because he's sick in bed. (I think he'll be up and around tomorrow.) And our Passover is a LOT of work, especially this time because I invited my son, his fiance', her parents and her brother to our sedar.

My husband is in no condition to help today and I'm a little worried he might not be tomorrow, either. I hope it's nothing contagious because I'll cancel if I have to; I hate people who power through and illness and spread their diseases instead.

2) I just got a note from my son's fiance's mother (his future mother-in-law): Her son decided to go snow-boarding tomorrow so she's not sure he'll deign to join us (that's what her tone was like). I stifled my own irriation and just said, if he wants to join us, that's fine and if he gets here late (or not at all) he can just sit down and catch up with us.

Grrrrrrrrr....this will all blow over but right now everyone and everything is getting on my last nerve. I'm sure everyone else has been in the same boat and can understand.

Go to my happy place...close eyes...deep breath...maybe I'll practice some Tai Chi movements I'm learning in physcial therapy...

Oh wait--I have several loads of laundery to do and have to make arrangements to get my lawns mowed. So much for going to my happy place....
