I'm not sure why so many people are concerned about Lisa "overshadowing" the other hosts. That happens in most workplaces to one degree or another. In a school, there are always some teachers who may be better and gain more attention, in a law office, some lawyers are better than others and may get a partnership, in a corporate office, there are workers who are just smarter, more innovative, more on the ball than others and get recognized or promoted... it happens everywhere in real life. No difference on a shopping channel.

As a person who likes and enjoys Lisa most of the time (not all the time - don't like the fancy shows), but whose life isn't going to go into a whirlwind because she's leaving, I think she has an "it" factor that the other hosts don't have. Colleen Lopez seems to be the "queen" of HSN, although I don't think she has the "it" factor that Lisa has. Apparently some people are born with it, and some people aren't. It's just a fact of life.

I've always liked Lisa. She's funny (yeah, I get her humor, too), she's bright, she's pretty, she has a very nice speaking voice. I think she's pretty much been the best host on QVC.

I don't watch much QVC and now that Lisa is leaving I'll watch even less. And that's fine by me. I don't need more time in front of the tube.
