Re: Just in Case or Wait and See?

I used to be more of a "just in case" person but as I've gotten older tend to be more of a "wait and see".  It does depend on what the circumstance is!

Depends entirely on the situation.

Re: Just in Case or Wait and See?

For certain things, like emergency supplies, I am proactive because I live in an earthquake-prone zone.  For many other things, I will wait and see if I need to deal with it.

Re: Just in Case or Wait and See?

Judging by how I will purchase 3 or 4 pairs of the same jeans if I find one that fits, and the same with tops - if I find one that is just right in my size, I'll buy all the colors.

So I must be Just In Case, in case I can't find another pair of jeans that fits!

Definitely a just in case type. And I typically think of all the worst cases. My husband says that at least 50% of the things you think are going to happen never do. So why worry, wonder, and fret about it all. I say, "I do because I'm so good at it." 🤣

I have a just in case stash of emergency essentials for home, vehicle and desk drawer in the office.

I always have kept my ear to the ground while I wait and see what else may be needed.

I hope you remind him that 50% won't happen means that 50% of the time things will happen.  Guess he was never a Boy Scout or at least didn't follow the Boy Scout motto of "be prepared".

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.
