My brother gets calls for Taxi Service and more times than not it's in the middle of the night from someone who had a bit too much to drink

Ages ago, our phone number was one off from a local plumbing company. One night, I got a desperate call needing a plumber immediately. I told him politely he'd reached the wrong number and hung up. Phone rings again. Same guy, really angry, demanding I send a plumber. Again I advised he reached the wrong number and actually GAVE him the right number and hung up again. He called yet again. This time I handed the phone to my hubby who told the guy he'd be glad to come over and fix his plumbing but when he'd tried to fix our own plumbing it wound up costing us thousands....the guy didn't call again.

for the longest time i received phone calls looking for the previous owner. it got so bad that i looked up her new phone number, called her and asked if i could forward her number to her friends and family. she said yes and thank you.

now, i have an occasional phone relationship with her. as the saying goes...no good deed goes unpunished. lol
