what is the cheapest/thriftiest thing you have ever done or seen someone do? Yes the free drink thread inspired this one, and I still think the employee was rude to say that to Mr Sunny.........
any way, I once saw some older men(late sixties/early seventies ) come into Mc D's and bring their own food, muffins I think and they brought Mc D cups from a previous visit( I guess) and helped themselves to drinks, napkins, etc,........
I also noticed on another trip there 2 young women pull into the same Mc D and come in a side door, walking very fast, bringing their McD cups and fixed themselves refills and left out the side door,lol.........
and last I once worked at a CVS type drug store, they had a counter with mens cologne testers and a man would come in every day and put "his" cologne on.
The Mc D situations I was just there eating, I get a kick out of watching people sometimes.
One of the thrifty/cheap things I do is wash and reuse plastic forks and spoons, which some think is terrible, others say why not.
