If we are talking about fragrance, old garden roses from Charleston, Champney's pink cluster.  If we are talking about beauty, rosa Sonia Rykiel.  Among other things I love, the beautiful foliage of magnolia, their exquisite fragrance and architectural beauty.

White daisies. I almost always have a bouquet in the kitchen from the grocery store.

Roses, all colors, especially yellow and peach.  I had a beautiful rose garden now gone except for 3 bushes.  Unable to care for it as I aged.  Had lavendar roses, tangerine, white, red, rose, stil have red and white and tangerine.

 

Pansies, tulips, delphininum, diahila, mums. yellow, white and peach tuber begonias.

Red roses.  Love to look at Sunflowers, makes me think back to our days in N. Dakota. They have beautiful summers and really rough winters.  

 

You know, a pearl gets all roughed up before it becomes a pearl, by the sand.  There's a lesson there.  How about coal before it becomes a diamond?  Nature's lessons.

 

Reading through these responses, I realize how many flowers could be my favorites. We sure needed this post.  At least I did, thanks.
