Our UPS person puts my packages on my back porch which I appreciate. The USPS puts them on my front porch. I live on a very busy street and had ordered a pair of shoes from Famous Footwear and supposedly the package was left on my porch but I never got it. I checked with my neighbors and neither one of them have it. Don't know if it was stolen, probably, but Famous Footwear isn't being real cooperative. It wasn't a lot of money but still. I am now very wary when ordering anything that is being delivered by the USPS.

We got fruit delivered yesterday that was left on the stoop - thank goodness it was cool out and no critters got into it - as that can easily happen in Fl.

Regarding our deliveries: We have a driveway alarm and it rings anytime some passes over it. Our driveway is long (I/4 mile) and I like to know when someone is coming!!!

It's weird I had temps for awhile that were messing up but this week my regular guy was back with them for training. Maybe they had complaints. Now my boxes are in good order and my doorbell is rung. After this week I don't plan on ordering anymore before Xmas.

I am so glad I have a covered porch it helps.
