When vendors or reps come on do they use their own verbiage or to they have someone write it for them?

I assume they would use their own since they’re familiar with the product.

I heard one remark that they were "schooled" but...       don't know how much or what on.

That would make sense to me.

Am sure their individual companies  have them  memorize certain  accepted info abt the company they work for.

The Reps also are  well educated on the product they will present . That's why the Reps usually stick to giving the info customers need abt an item. The Reps usually speak in a polished tone .

It's the Hosts that use up time  jabbering nonsense or TMI  abt their personal lives  or waste time calling out numbers sold or  announce the color options  15 times.

QVC holds "training" classes for new on-air presenters.

I recall Dan Hughes mentioning that he conducted many.

I doubt that QVC tells them what to say.  That's likely up to the brands they're paid to represent.

Some of those spiels are memorized and rattled off so fast I don't see how they manage to take a breath.  Temptations & Keurig come to mind.

No, I watched one day in a whole Foods Market with a news caster, who knows if it  was abc, nbc or cbs. I don't remember.

Anyway they were standing there with a "live mike" and reading a teleprompter which most do anyway. Thats all it is. (I kept on shopping but did peep at the camera they were looking at and talking out of curiousity. No big deal.

(PS most televised shows are  are prompted IMO)

Since they are employees of the brand they come on to represent, I am sure that company gives them their talking points.
