So sometimes something will just pop into my head and being bored I thought I'd ask, when your dining out with your significant other do you set on the same side or opposite each other? I like to sit opposite, I feel you can see each other better and I'm not too cramped. People newly in love like to sit next to each other leaving a perfectly good other side of the booth empty!

Opposite (if in a booth) or at right angles (depending on the size of the table). I don't like to talk sideways!

Same here....opposite each other. Otherwise it looks like you're waiting for someone else to join you.

@Jordan2 Many times we will sit on the same side of the booth or table. Just depends on what we feel like doing. 😊

I prefer opposite because I like to look into people's eye's, facial expressions, etcetera.
