My female kitty goes to get her hyperthyroid condition corrected this weekend. She has an appointment to get her thyroid radiated to prevent any spread of tumors and illness. It's a non-invasive procedure and she gets an MRI. She's strong but easily frightens and I will miss her for the four to five days she's away for observation. The doctor's office has web-cam so I can look in on her in her area to feel less worried. She's a rescue - she was abandoned on our property as a kitten and she easily won our hearts.

To those in Tornado country - take care.
