Was going to make something with the fresh roasted Hatch Chilies we got at gelson's today, but mr henny decided he is craving spaghetti and meatballs.We will go to a tiny local Italian place. They have a yummy anti pasta salad for me.

I had grandchildren for dinner.  No, I didn’t eat them up, but they’re so sweet I could’ve.  DS and DiL invited us to their house for a cookout this evening. The food was delicious, as always, but those darling children were this grandma’s definitive dessert.

Tonight it's Chinese for my nieces and nephew. For me it is 1/2 c low-fat cottage cheese,fresh blackberries, and Kashi toasted berry crumble high protein cereal sprinkled on top. This is one of  my favorite meals.

Me, my DH and my mom we ate together at home. We had a tomato/onion/cucumber/radish/dill salad, spinach soup, stuffed peppers, a bottle of white French wine from Sammur(Loire valley). Much later had some cold water melon while watching CP show.

Used left over roasted vegetables to make stuffed Swiss Chard,

Served with polenta,mushroom sauce. Dessert ...Banana Cream pie, replaced filling with greek yogurt,lime.
