Prayers and good thoughts for both you and your daughter.  It is difficult to not think of your children has adults dealing with so many issues.  To us they are our children.

You are not alone, @Goodie2shoes. Adding my prayers (and hugs), as a mom who shares a similar burden.  We never stop worrying about and/or praying for our kids.

24 Hours at a time.

Look up Joseph Habedank's story and his song "24 Hours"  I hope you find some hope within the lyrics. He's a good and nice guy. DH and I have spent time with him on a few occasions.

Thanks so much !  I went to youtube and watched him tell his story of addiction and healing. I also listened to that song 24 hrs.  Awesome story and song. Yes I did fine hope in the lyrics, my daughter will get thru this and be healed. No we never stop worrying about our children no matter what age. I pray for you as well. God Bless !

She's made a good choice by seeking help.

I have her in my thoughts and prayers.

And prayers for you for strength and peace.

Dearest @Goodie2shoes, I've shared before, sparingly and carefully, that I have my own experience with several inpatient psychiatric hospital stays for depression, anxiety, and thoughts of ending my life.  As you, and others here, know, the darkness we face in these circumstances clouds our reasoning and our thought processes, and so the fact that your dear daughter made this clear and life-affirming decision is extremely encouraging and speaks of her deep sense of purpose and of her strength.  Strength that, no doubt, is like the strength of her loving and faithful mother.  I was blessed each time to have gifted, compassionate staff, supportive family, and faith to carry me forward, and I feel in my heart your daughter will be equally blessed and healed.  My prayers for her, for all who love her, and for those who are guiding her through this process.  Peace and love be with you.❤️
