Hey all! I am relatively new to the chat, and I really enjoy bouncing around from topic to topic and getting info (Thanks, gardenman for the BB updates!) and laughing at the quips
that seem to come fast and furious on here.
One thing that kind of puzzles me though....
What is meant by the abbreviations like "DH, DS, DD, and DWhatever!"
I kind of think that it refers to husbands, daughters etc... but what is the "D"?
is it Dear? Darling? ******? Am I close? Now, DON'T JUMP ALL OVER ME because I may be dense! Help me out folks!

@781Florist DH is dear husband; DS is dear son, DD is dear daughter, DM dear mother, DGD is dear granddaughter, DGS is dear grandson. You get the picture. I don't know what word the ***** were for but there are words not allowed and will be *****'d out by the Mods!

@781Florist If you read enough posts you'll see that it's sometimes easy to get a bit carried away LOL!
