Just About Finished Washing Windows

It was a beautiful day today so I washed windows.  Still have one more to do-----the window over the kitchen sink which is always a challenge.

I used a product recommended here by some posters----Sprayway.  Bought at Wal-Mart and a really reasonable price and it did a wonderful job.  Add Don Aslett's microfiber cloths and you have a good way to clean windows.

Hate to think what is coming in a couple of months but at least I will have clean windows to watch it snow.  Oh, dear, that four letter word!!!!!!

Re: Just About Finished Washing Windows

My DH took the screens out and washed, our windows today.  It was beautiful outside.

We have a two story house, but the windows tilt in for cleaning.  The view is so much clearer now...especially with the screens gone.

I have a few sets of blinds that need cleaned now, Yuck!

I HATE those mini blinds.  First thing we did when we moved into our condo was remove them and put up shades.

Nice!  Way more daring with a ladder than me.  Happy sparkle.

I clean the windows (they tilt in for cleaning) a couple times a year but can no longer get the screens out, grrr.   and they are filthy.

The last couple of years I have been using the vacuum on them and then run a wet cloth over the to clean, it works but would be so much easier if they came out.

I live on the 10 Floor - I can only wash the inside.

Windows open out - so impossible to wash outside.  Fortunately - being this high up - a heavy rain does a fairly decent job on the outsides.

Re: Just About Finished Washing Windows

Between the guilt for not washing my windows yet, and the exhaustion from reading all the labor intensive posts, I think I'll go take a nap.
