I had to go downtown this morning or possible jury service.  Luckily most of the cases were dismissed/settled so I only had to stay until 10:30.

I don't mind serving and it can be interesting to be on a case but being retired I have gotten spoiled about getting up early.  I had to get up at 5 to leave the house by 7....yuck!

I hated being called for jury duty which happened about 6 times in my life, serving on a jury once.  So glad I'm of an age that if I am called, I can be excused.

I've never been and I'm too old now.  Woman Happy  It's odd how many never get called and some do over and over.

I have been called 5 times but never actually attended, I had legit reasons all 5 times and I was excused from showing up, now over 70 so wont be called.

I live in NY and there is no age limit for being called to jury duty.

I considered it an honor to serve on a jury & found it quite interesting.

It is very odd!  I have been called several times in NJ & PA.  It must have been 7 times total.  I was on a jury in NJ but the case got settled over the lunch break.

I found it boring but usually made friends with other potential jurors. We all complained about how boring it was just waiting around.

I have gone down there 5 or 6 times, was on a two week jury years ago.  I have a few years until I have age as an excuse.  My husband no longer has to go.

I took my kindle so I wasn't really bored. They do a much better job now with the computer and not calling everyone for the entire week.
