Jury Deadlocked in Cosby Trial

I rarely post, but I fear this is going to be an OJ and Casey Anthoney situation.  I guess any evidence against these people is meaningless.  How do you feel?

@rmb It does not surprise me one bit, he will get off because of his name, money & place in show business, we have seen this repeated over and over and over, let us just pray that his reputation in the public eye is so tarnished that the man never works again!

There is a thread about this subject over in "TV & Movies".

Personally, I think that he got away with it.

I would be a defense lawyers nightmare. I know I would cave and change my vote due to peer pressure. It can probably get tense during deliberations.

All those women lost so much and so many of us lost the Bill Cosby of the past in our own memories.  I still have trouble wrapping my mind around "Dr. Huxtable" doing all that but the evidence is there.  But at least unlike so many other outcomes in other cases no lives were lost.

They can opt to try him again.  Maybe this time, in a different jurisdiction though, everyone knows the case by now.

If he gets away with this one, there are more to follow.  Perhaps, another trial with another victim will catch up with him.

in the end, no one gets away with any wrong doing.

NO @Carmie.  These offenses have a statute of limitations.  Charges must be filed within a certain time frame.  This was "the" case that wasn't time barred yet.

Only in this lifetime.
