I'm hoping it tastes better than the Oreo's Cookie Cheesecake ...  one of the worst food products I ever received from the Q ... had to throw it out!

Re: Junior Cheesecake @ Costco

Something I found interesting about Junior's cheesecakes from their website and Q compared to those available at retail--the retail ones are not certified kosher but are through the Junior's website and Q.

Makes me wonder what is different about the ingredients and/or process.

Recently Q had several Junior's cheesecakes on sale for $60.  At the Junior' website the cost was lower but once shipping was added the price was the same as Q's.

The eyes through which you see others may be the same as how they see you.

Kroger supermarkets sell Jrs Cheesecake too. At least in my area.

I agree about the shipping charges, @Marp  and @Kachina624  ... I've always felt the "free shipping" on food items is a misnomer ... of course shipping is factored into the cost.  If I'm ordering from the Q, it's mostly for the convenience of not having to go out and look for a  particular item.

Walmart used to sell Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes.  I haven't been in the store in 4 years so don't know if they're still there.

Re: Junior Cheesecake @ Costco

@Bellajay   That is a good deal! Thanks for posting!  I've only had a Junior's Cheesecake once. I ordered the Christmas holiday cheesecake they always offer in December. It was good...but I honestly didn't think it was worth what I paid. I'm not a big fan of graham cracker crust bottoms & I believe that's what this one had. I do think the price Costco is selling them for is much more reasonable.

@Kachina624   Your post reminded me lol, Long John Silver's was also selling slices of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. I believe they were offering plain & Oreo. I got a slice of the plain just to try. It definitely wasn't the same experience as getting one from the restaurant.

I'm anxious to see how I like this one.   I have a delicious cheesecake recipe, but I couldn't resist this one.  I'll bring one to my in-laws Christmas Eve and I'll have one for us Christmas Day.  I'll have an extra one just in case someone needs it 😂

Re: Junior Cheesecake @ Costco

My local grocery store sells the small plain cakes and also the mini's cakes individually. Nice to pick up a mini every now and then.

I don't want 48 ounces of cheesecake, so I'm passing which I do with about 90% of Costco's food products. Curious though about the comparison.  I believe I've seen Junior's elsewhere, but I wouldn't know if the recipes were identical; also do not know what deal Junior makes with the different companies they sell to.

You are right. I have seen Junior's at Shop Rite grocery stores. They were smaller size cheesecake. Compare that with 3 lb

At shoprite this week they have the Oreo cheesecake from Junior......it is 2 lbs at $17

or $25:50 for 3 lbs.........on the Q website it says $85 for a 3 lb Oreo cheesecake !

For $60 bucks in shipping, I could have it picked up in a armored car !
