We finally got our June Gloom weather this morning. Very chilly but by afternoon it will be warm again but NOT as hot as the past few days. We have really had some super hot spells here and there for a month now. And to top it off our rainfall is way below our norm - which is never great to begin with. Hope this hot weather is not a sign of what we will have this summer - last summer was one of the hottest and most miserable that I can remember out here. What really makes it bad is our air use to be very dry and that is fine - I can handle dry heat. But in recent years the humidity has moved West - not a good thing.

Meuw I was not aware the Wild Earth drives were only for a short time - I just know it kind of reminds me of the original Wild Earth drives - I could rarely get them for such a long time and then boom, they were coming in crystal clear. Cannot get these drives every day - could not get them again this morning.

Hasd, am not aware of what happened to fruitlesspuppy. I never got involved in the chat sessions and as a result missed a lot of things. And then the past couple years I was super busy trying to reign in a teenager so got away from a lot of the stuff. I just decided to check out some sights last week and found the drives back on. I always enjoyed Pieter and I really liked Nick - I thought he was very funny and perhaps the most knowledgeable of the ones doing the drives. I had a hard time thinking he could stay in Canada but I guess he is very happy there. Have no clue what Pieter is doing these days - guess I should go back and read some more and maybe I will find out.

Hope all have a great day - and also hope all are escaping bad weather - looks like the East Coast is getting battered now. Sigh.
