Our local homeowners association has a parade for July 4th every year. They said that this year, as it falls on a Monday, they're having the parade on the Saturday before.
Isn't it a public holiday for everyone (except emergency workers, I understand that)?
What is the benefit of having the parade two days before, if everyone is on holiday on the actual day?
I'm just afraid that we're going to get fireworks for three nights, which upsets the animals.
