We have a big 4th of July parade in our town. So we go to the parade, my brother and sister in law live on the parade route, so they stake out a place for us all to sit and watch and they service refreshments-there is usually about 20-30 of us...

After the parade we have a cookout at the park, usually about 30 or so of us-have a good time, eating and playing games and just catching up!

Evening-Fireworks!!!!

Long long day, but fun! Glad the next day is saturday though...I am on vacation all next week as well, so looking forward to it......

We are having a family reunion at a nearby Lake state Park.   Family coming from all over ,  some I haven't seen in years!   Good food, family, swimming, fireworks in the evening   and it's my bday !  Kids have hinted at something special 😉  I'm not big on surprises ,  but guess have to see what they've cooked up 🙀.  Weather is suppose to be great ,  fingers crossed 🤞🏻

A homemade Wisconsin fish fry dinner of walleye, coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries, and Parker House rolls.  Strawberry shortcake for dessert. Enjoying fireworks set off a couple blocks away over the river viewed from our rocking chairs on the deck.

@deepwaterdotter    Love a good fish fry !   Many restaurants where we live hsve them every Friday !   Have to be Kringle fries too ,  our favorite!   When we lived in different states through the years ,  or even different areas within our state they had no idea what fish fry's were !  Here in my hometown it has always been Fish Fry Fridays!!
