No plans for us. We'll probably go to our favorite Barbeque restaurant for lunch. That's what we did last year.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

A lot of that depends on the weather. What I'd like to do is drive down the coast to a small town with quaint little boats and a couple of right-out-of-the-water clams and fish. A great area for walking.

But not if it's foggy, especially driving home with people who've partied too much on the road.

BBQ, fresh grilled summer corn, potato salad, blackberry cobbler, strawberry lemonade, and fireworks after dark......

We go to a small church & America's birthday is always a big picnic w the congregation. Not sure what to bring this year & I've been reading the Recipe forum for tips. (: Same thing every year & always love it! Happy Birthday USA!!

Will be out in the boat with hubby and the dog! He doesn't like fireworks (the dog, not the hubby!) so we'll keep him close and hopefully calm.
