Mr. Bond was co-founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center, I was privileged to hear him speak in that capacity.  He was a man very dedicated to his beliefs who spoke and acted well in support of them.

He was a great American.  I always wished he had run for office many years ago.

As a supporter of the SPLC I would appreciate seeing the source used  for this statement.
