Julia Roberts' Half Sister Found Dead ~~

She was found Sunday (yesterday) - Dont' have more details yet. Read it in a top European newspaper. Her name was Nancy Mottes. It was due to an overdose.

No doubt she will be very sad. Never heard of her before.

I think she had a hard time being JR's sister. Tough act to follow maybe?

In the past I've read that Julia's stepdad, which would be the sisters real dad, abused and terrorized the family. Very sad that she took her life.

She was distant from her half sister as Julia did not like the groom and did not attend the half sister's wedding. She also has had a feud with her brother actor Eric Roberts for years and is estranged from him

Good grief, sounds like a dysfunctional mess. Sad that she turned to drugs and destroyed her life.
