I can't stand Joy Mangano. I couldn't watch her for more than 10 minutes. A movie about her? Who cares? The huggable hanger knock offs are just as good as hers and cheaper.

joy is a classic rags to riches story. i would definitely see this movie and i rarely go to the movies. don't want to get shot.

I wonder if she is a true "inventor"....actually drawing up designs of inventions, OR she finds new ideas from "common" people that she buys or retools into her own unique item?

Jennifer Lawrence could make anything interesting...but this may be too much even for her!

Just read that David O Russell is writing and directing - those 2 could make it interesting!
