Joran van der Sloot has finally admitted to killing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway 18 years ago — bludgeoning her to death with a cinder block and dumped her in the ocean after she tried to fight back against his sexual advances
Van der Sloot, long the prime suspect in the 18-year-old’s disappearance, made the shocking admission Wednesday in an Alabama courtroom with Holloway’s parents present.

I just read this. And then he said he "threw her in the ocean."
Do we believe him? If he had just thrown her in, wouldn't he have been concerned her body would wash ashore? I think it's more likely he and those brothers took her out in a boat and weighted her down. Do we believe anything this guy says?
IDK. At least Beth says she finally has reached the end of her nightmare.

Whoever raised this POS should also be punished for their epic failure.

He is a sick and evil person and I am glad her mom finally has her closure...Even though she already knew..He will never see life outside of prison ever again!!!
Wonder how he and the other 2 guys persuaded her to leave with them.. She was so young and naive-such a shame.....I just can't imagine as a parent how painful this is and still is and always will be for her..
The report I read said he went home and watched porn afterwards, thats how sick he is.

Alchohol and naivety is how. She was so young and inexperienced and she drank a lot that night. No judgement from me, it's just that's how he did it .

I’m not sure he’s believable and I’m not sure Natalie’s family has closure. The case was poorly handled and Joran’s dad was (he’s dead) a judge - cover up.
Unfortunately another girl had to be murdered to put this scum behind bars. She was the sacrificial lamb.
May he rot in jail then in he**

Natalee's family believed him, got the admission they wanted, and are satisfied now. Eighteen years is long time to wait, but it's finally over. That's what matters. The details Joran related said he acted alone. Neither the two buddies or his father were involved as has been speculated over the years. The senior Van der Sloot died with a heavy heart, I'm sure.

She lost her daughter, in a horrible act of evil, it will never be over for her.

When the POS pled guilty, stating he alone killed her, the local Alabama authorities administered a polygraph, which they are satisfied he was telling the truth.
One reason he may have disposed of the body is to hide evidence of drugs he may have put in her drink.
I live one town over from where she went to high school. I remember to this day the news that she was not on the flight home. When authorities questioned the 2 jokers who were with the POS, they said they left her at the hotel. That was Lie #1. If they had brought her back to the hotel she would have been at the hotel.
I can't link to the local reporter covering the trial for all the ads but if you go to al(dot)com you won't have any trouble findng the report she filed this morning.
al as in Alabama
