I always suspected the brother, too...and the parents did the coverup, with Patsy writing the note.

Sadly there are too many cold cases that leave families without closure. People do get away with murder.
I lean toward the brother being the murderer as other posters stated. Also when you have wealth you can influence the way investigations go and result. That has been going on for as long as I can remember.

Another vote that the brother did it and parents covered it up.
Such a tragedy.

The DNA found under JonBenet Ramsey’s nails and in her panties was not of any family member... it was an unknown male's DNA.

'You know'...........if the DNA wasn't the brother's........perhaps one of his tween/teen friends?
You know how youngsters/tweens/teens talk about 'this and that'...........news gets around...........

All of the hypotheses in the world doesn't amount to a hill of beans.
The parents are dead, so there's no point in trying to bring a case against them now.
Some murders are destined to remain unsolved.
We still don't know who Jack the Ripper was, or who murdered the Black Dahlia.
Theories, yes, but no conclusive, concrete, rock solid proof.

@Anonymous032819 JonBenet's father is alive, and is remarried.

I don't know who did it. And I really hate accusing someone I have no evidence against. I believe that type of things ruins far too many peoples lives. I wish they could solve
the crime but I do not have any skin in the game of who done it.
