Jon Bon Jovi, Tuesday night, received an award to celebrate their new performing arts center at the high school he graduated from.  It's also the school I graduated from, albeit much earlier than Jon.  He was just 'one of the local kids' in our neighborhood who hung out with the boys.  Sharing a photo of him from the school event.  So nice to see him again.

I loved Jon Bon Jovi when I was younger for his music and, well, his cuteness 😍.  As he ages, he has shown what a kind generous man he is.  Frequently volunteering his time and money to help people down on their luck.  Recently he randomly came across a woman, a complete stranger, that was leaning over the edge of a bridge about to end it all, and he talked her down and away from what she was getting ready to do.

Jon and I are the same age and graduated high school in the same year.  I never felt old until I saw him on the cover of my AARP magazine.  I knew I was receiving the "older" material but seeing him on there was a jolt.  He looks great and has had a wonderful life.
