NOT SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF.
Actually, he is a federal corrections officer and I am very proud of him.
Many of the worst criminals are also very charming - to those they choose to be - and cruel murderous thugs to others.
That's correct @minkbunny. That's because they're psychopaths and/or sociopaths, as well as mysogenists or narcissists, or all of the above. Reminds me of Tony Soprano. He was so charming as well, but you didn't want to get on his bad side.
I'm a big "mob" fan. I loved all the Godfather movies, Goodfellas, Casino, and on TV, of course The Sopranos. All these guys were extremely charming when they wanted to be or had to be. It's good that your son saw the good side of Gotti.

This I HAVE to see. John Travolta has made so many movies that were real duds that I must see if this one is too.

I'm not sure who is worse, John Travolta or his wife.
@lulu1- I just can't understand why. I think of John Travolta as an excellent actor. Or maybe not...
JT will always be Vinnie Barbarino to me. There's just something about his voice.
We agree on a lot of things; I've never thought he was a great actor. In the movies I liked him, he seemed to be playing himeself.
The make-up in Gotti is EGADS. I tend to enjoy mob movies but this one was a real clinker/clunker for me.
