I've written before about the comparison of some entertainment to raw sewage and not allowing such excrement to flow through your home. In my estimation, these "reality" shows are the epitome of raw sewage, contributing nothing but stink and stain on society.

Maybe she should try going thru Kim K/Kanye ...

Unless they became naturalized citizens here in the US which automatically renounces Italian citizenship, then she's in trouble and at the Italian courts' mercy.
I'd be shocked if she left with him. Their girls are established in school and with friends and family here. Maybe she hangs tough until the youngest is in college and skypes and does summers abroad but I can't imagine uprooting young kids who are halfway through their education like that.
@Laura14 The Italian culture is all for family, but in this case, I am not so sure that Teresa would want to leave the US as she makes a great living here, and I can't see her in a country where she couldn't be living high, but it will be interesting to know how the girls feel, girls love their daddies.

I think Joe wouldn't mind going back to Italy if it weren't for his children, but we will see what happens.

@mousiegirl The whole move thing doesn't make any sense to me. She could definitely have her own spinoff with Bravo in Italy but people would be reading subtitles unless she finds other Americans abroad.
I agree with you. I wouldn't uproot my life and my kids' lives like that. It's different once the kids are grown and maybe you love your husband that much. I know any man that puts me in prison I'm packing this second to join him. ![]()
Not excusing her own personal responsibility to look at what her husband's asking her to do but at some point you need to put yourself and your kids' best interests first and not be stupid a second time around.

@Laura14 I also think she wouldn't divorce due to the girls, unless at this point, the girls wouldn't mind. The oldest Gia would understand it more, but the little ones are iffy. The new season is about to begin in November, but guess this won't be mentioned as the deportation announcement just occurred. I wonder if Andy will have an iterview with Teresa about this at some point. Do you watch RHNJ?

@mousiegirl I don't have Bravo so I rarely get a chance to see it. Usually have to go on vacation and catch an episode at a hotel. I did watch it when it first came on and we still had the channel.
My sisters and I got moved around as kids and we didn't like it. Between friends and schools and in this case even a whole new culture and language, that's a lot to ask of younger ones. I think their lives have been upset enough already and they could use some stability.

There is a thread about this in the TV and Movies Forum and I posted my opinion there but I'll post it here too. LOL
I had said way back when Joe was found guilty that if he in fact ended up deported, Tre would stay here. IMO she has been looking to dump him since this all happened.
Surprise, surprise, Tre and the kids aren't going anywhere. She has already said it would be too hard for the kids to have to adjust to another culture, they have friends here, are involved in activities here, etc.
This was an easy out for Tre from Joe.

@aubigirl
She was born in Italy, maybe that will allow her to get in.
Even on the last episodes which were quite some time ago there were subtle hints that she was thinking of divorce.

Please get your facts straight. Teresa was born in NJ to Italian immigrant parents.
Joe was born in Italy and was brought here by is parents when he was ONE YEAR OLD.
