Does it grate on anyone else when Jill REPEATEDLY analogizes about how you'd spend $300 on a Dooney handbag, but you would think twice about the item she's hocking at the moment??!!!! Nothing like insulting your other shoppers. Apples and Oranges.

Just how much ARE the apples and oranges she is selling?

I have more important issues that grate on my nerves. Certainly nothing a shopping channel host says will ever send me into a tizzy, LOL.

Nope. The analogy didn't bother me. Didn't even notice it.

I like Jill but yeah that is a wierd seling point to me. I'm sure the Dooney rep loves that.

Jane T. can do mindless analogies better than anyone. Like, what if you were in the jungle thinking about the days of your youth when you lived in the big city and danced for a living, when just at that moment a butterfly flew by that reminded you of an old flame, wouldn't you want to be wearing a bright red Quacker Factory tutu at that moment? Or some such nonsense.

OMG! Too funny! I could hear Jane T's voice while reading that analogy.

{#emotions_dlg.lol} I really do love Jane, though. I had such a dysfunctional childhood, that when I hear about hers, I get so envious. Oh, how I wish I had had a mother like hers. {#emotions_dlg.wub}
