Return To Me

I grew up hearing Jerry Vale on my mother's hi-fi. His voice was so pure, pitch perfect. Few of today's singers have that gift.

This song always makes me tear up - from the film with William Holden and Jennifer Jones.

I LOVE return to me! He had a powerful voice. few of today's singers have "that gift" because they don't sing songs with real words and story lines anymore! LOL!

He was from the days when singers sang and didn't have to scream. He had a beautiful voice and I remember some of his songs...he will be missed.

So true. A real crooner of beautiful songs with a voice that was unmistakable. My grandmother would sing along with him and she was the essence of Italian...I cannot hear his voice without seeing her lovely face!

What passes now is screeching and screaming and hitting high notes.

Not singing in my book.
