No, not the same person.  He has a daughter he has never acknowledged and she is living on the street.  His adopted daughter and his current wife are is beneficiaries.

Apparently, after Jerry's son Joseph died of an overdose - Gary said that their father was a mean & evil man who cared nothing about his family...and he believed that Joseph was broken hearted over his dad's disinterest.

Supposedly, that's why Jerry disinherited all of his sons.

But, I'm sure there's more to it. Perhaps Jerry was looking for an excuse to be done w/ the kids from his past marriage?

You can see a photo online of his homeless daughter.  He never denied her. She looks exactly like him.

Suzan's DNA test was 88% positive that Jerry was her father. 

I don't know at what point she became homeless but Jerry neither denied nor acknowledged Suzan.  I believe she is in PA, not CA.

It was never a big secret about Suzan or Jerry's relationship with his sons and ultimately why Patti divorced him.  Jerry's dirty laundry has always been out there for all to see.

Gary Lewis has always been outspoken about Jerry's role as a dad even back in the 1960's when Gary had his rock band.  Gary also had been in touch with Suzan for several years.

It doesn't matter if Jerry left $$ to his sons or not; as much as, imo, it would have been nice for him to do so-the fact remains it was his money to bequeath as he wanted.  It's a family issue that plays out time and time again.

Children from first marriages are often left out many times; and not necessarily by the rich and famous.

While his actions as an adulter and absentee father are not commendable by any stretch of the imagination, he's dead.    Nothing will bring back any more chances to make things different.

I never liked any of his movies, or his "comedy".

While the MDA is a good charity, I never cared for him as an emcee.

Even as a child, I could tell that that persona was fake, and I never liked him.

If he hated his own children, (and it is obvious that he did, I mean, why else would he treat them the way that he did?) I wonder how he really felt about the kids that were in his MDA telethons?

May he and Bing both rot in hades for all of eternity, for the pain that they caused their kids, and for the way that they treated them.

I've never liked the man or his movies.  I've never read anything good about him other than him doing that telethon.  But having never liked him, I'm still shocked that he could do his biological kids this way.....even if they didn't get along.

Sure, there are a ton of deadbeat or disinterested parents out there...but how does a man walk away from ALL SIX SONS from his first marriage??

For some reason I was thinking that he died a while back. Come to think of it, I must have seen his picture on the cover of one of those rags while at the grocery store proclaiming he was at death's door. So, I guess they were right.

@sabatini  I don't see why Jerry having an "issue" with Gary would cause him to disinherit his other still-living chilrden.  That doesn't make sense to me.

@Cakers3  I didn't think here anyone who has posted on this thread so far thinks differently about Jerry's money not being his to leave to homwever he chooses.   That never even entered my mind in posting that he didn't leave the money to his biological children. Of course it was his money and his choice to whom to leave it; that's not an issue.   But whom he chose is rather sad for his children in my opinion.  I thought others would think so too, which is why I posted it.
