She threw raw meat at Kasey's daughter...

I suppose she could have shot his daughter. Now THAT would be nuts. Raw meat....harmless, unless ingested

It's not nice to ""steal"" your daddy before dinnertime.

The price of meat these days I wish she would throw some my way

Well she may indeed be mentally disturbed. I don't know her so I can't say. But the "meat" was reportedly a wrapped package of hamburg that she happened to have in her hand at the time. She has been married to Casey for 34 years and they have a child together. She's not someone who just showed up to rip him off.
The daughters from the first marriage have apparently never gotten over their parents' breakup. His first wife is piping up now calling her "crazy" so that's probably where the girls get their attitude from. His doctor says his condition was not affected by his being moved and Jean submitted documents to the court showing that one of the daughters has borrowed more than $1,000,000 from them. I suspect her efforts to keep them away from Casey as of late have to do with them being after his money.

I NEVER side with the step mom in situations like this...keeping kids away from their dad is never right, IMO.

Actually, there are often times to keep a child away from their father.

I think you will have lived a charmed life if the worse thing that ever happens to you is that someone flings raw meat your way.
Cookout anyone?

I would imagine since Kasey is mentally unable to handle his affairs, that his wife has legal POA over all their financial business. So, there would be no reason for Jean to fear that Kasey's kids could get him to give them $$.
At minimum, since he his illness is serious, she should allow his children visitation with supervision, if she's worried about their visits with him.
Unless they are violent or mentally unstable, they should be allowed to see their father.
