Unfortunately, some posters on QVC social media pages get really ugly and boisterous about the hosts "rushing the seasons."  QVC moderators try to delete them as fast as they can, but they can crop up on their home pages as well as the individual host pages.

But it's August in two days, with many school districts across the country opening back up for school in a couple of weeks.  So the hosts should stop catering to the loudest complainers about it and just sell the sweater without apology.

@Caaareful Shopper , I no longer have school age kids, but apparently school here is starting Thursday.  I got an E-mail reminding me that school traffic would begin then.  However, the kids certainly will not be wearing fall clothing here in the South.  Temps will be in the 90's with heat index in the triple digits.

However, some fall clothing is in the stores.  A couple of weeks ago we had a Back-to-School tax-free weekend for school supplies which included clothing.  I would think the parents would be picking up some fall or transitional clothing since new summer clothing would only last their kids a few months and they would probably outgrow it by next summer.

@Icegoddess  I agree.  We've been getting the same reminders in our community social media pages.  Schools start for our district on 8/21.  Stores have had fall clothes for at least 3 weeks already.  Our state's 3-day sales tax free back to school shopping starts this Friday.

This summer has been hell.  I can't wait for the F-Word, Fall, to come.
