[Burnsite]

Hello all, I am writing from SEATAC airport, where my flight from Osaka landed on time early this AM but where sllllooowww Customs and Immigration and Security Clearance lines caused me to miss my other flights. 12 hour delay. I won't be home til 7 AM tomorrow. Sigh.

I have in prior trips gone through Detroit, where they work very efficiently. Fewer flights to Japan from Detroit these days, but I will wait for that portal next time.

This visit I did better with the language. A _great_ time and I think I got some great photos. My first night, I thought I had found QVC Japan on the hotel TV. The distinctive Q logo. It appeared to be selling an ATM? Or it was a quiz show asking a question about QVC and ATMS.

There was a sumo tournament for when I had jet lag. The sport has ancient links back to Shinto and is fascinating. They are shown live on TV.

Sorry for any typos, this is a loaner notebook so I wouldn't have to take my powerbook, and I think it is possessed by several demons.
