Re: January's Birds Nest - Welcoming 2015 and Friends Old and New

Hello all, I've been in a reading frenzy this week and haven't been online at all in the evenings. I like the author Dean Koontz and years ago he started his own series of Frankenstein books. When DH was alive we spent one weeked reading book one and two to each other. DH never lived to see book 3. Then Koontz published book 4. I bought two sets of books 3 and 4 (my middle sister also followed the series) and said one day I would start the set from book 1 through book 4. I decided to get back to reading this year and decided to begin with book 1. The bad thing about my reading habit is that I will keep myself up and not want to sleep until I finish the book (lol). I've completed 1, 2 and 3 and am more than 1/2 way through 4. Guess what I learned earlier this week? Koontz pulled a fast one on my and published a book 5 in 2011. I have to have that book by Saturday or I will schitz out lol.

We have an egg! The Berry eagles are nesting. Look between his/her front legs.

Kachina, I've been so busy at work I didn't even set up the shortcut at home for the Berry Nest. Did she lay the same time last year? I hope that the nests have more favorable outcomes than last year. I did a whole lotta crying.

I didn't start watching last year until the end of January, but I think someone mentioned the egg being laid about the 15th. You all were so kind not to mention that I referred to the bird's "front legs", like it also had back legs. Too much time with dogs.
