That's just how I felt, dawg lover. Cute show, and I thought she did a great job. I'm a fan now.

I guess I'm in the minority, but after just finishing Top Secret Twenty One I think Janet needs to take a break from writing the Stepahnie Plum series for a while. The last five or six books have become so predictable.
I would also like to see more romance between Stephanie and Ranger.
I know Janet's books still sell like crazy but I'm going to skip the next few books that she writes.

Deeva, I'm SO glad you said that!!! ![]()
I, too, think Stephanie and Ranger are a better match ...... not to mention, Ranger respects Stephanie and her ideas. She could grow professionally in an alliance with him.
OTOH, Morelli is always trying to keep his temper in check and is usually "tolerating" her behavior!
What's up with THAT??

Not me, I like it just the way it is. Yeah, of course it's predictable, but we're not in it to see who dunnit. We are just along for the ride and enjoying the fun. I love all the characters and how the bad guys are always just regular guys and kind of nice. So funny. And when Steph's family is at the table. It's all just great fun. But I think you're tired of it or maybe have outgrown the series. You could take a break but it's all going to be where you left it when you come back ![]()

I finished 20 and thought, great..she's writing good again. (for me, 1-5 were hysterical then went downhill a little each book after). I am 3/4's through 21 and have to say I am not finding it all that funny. Im a bit disappointed but of course, I will buy 22.

Of course. And you are right about the first five books-hysterical. Well, gotta run. There's a viewing today. (just kidding).

If you can read this, it's funny. She's got them for sale on her website. The revenge on Bella kills me-she's Joe's grandmother with the evil eye.

I am so tired of this series. The whole Ranger-or-Joe thing got very tiring and I don't read them anymore.
