Jane T.'s "TV Husband"

Maybe someone can enlighten me. I've seen Jane T. on some shows call one of the vendors her "TV husband." Then on a different show, she called yet a different vendor the same thing. Do any of the long-time viewers know why she calls them this or how it started? Just wondered.
