I heard on the news she told her sister Joan 2 weeks ago about her illness. She did not want to be a burden.  They were photographed together last weekend and she gave an interview and appeared on TV last week.

How brave to fight this disease alone for all that time.

According to People, Collins went for two years after finding a lump in her breast before having it check out.

I think some let fear take over them and don't seek medical attention as if it will go away.

Or they think it can't possibly be happening to them.

No one wants to hear bad news, but it's not like no news is good news if you don't seek medical help.

Could cost you your life.  But it is up to you.

Such a shame Jackie had this happen to her and then how she handled.  She regretted it, but it was too late.
