JUST CURIOUS....Your Thanksgiving Menu

I would LOVE to read everyone's menu for Thanksgiving dinner.  I think there are alot of great cooks here and may even give some of us ideas for upcoming December holidays too.

I am drooling at the mouth already, lol.

Re: JUST CURIOUS....Your Thanksgiving Menu

Turkey Breast with dressing (what we call it in the South) and gravy;

Pole Beans (another southern term) that are large green beans which are also known as "Italian Green Beans" in the Kroger stores anyway.  I haven't found them anywhere but Kroger...so good, I cook them in chicken broth, salt & pepper.

Cole Slaw, Deviled Eggs and Apple Turnovers.

Just the two of us this year, so the basics are on our menu:  turkey breast, stuffing, corn pudding, gravy, brown-and-serve rolls, and pumpkin cobbler for dessert.

@kittykatkay Those deviled eggs sound good, so I'm making some for our meal too.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: JUST CURIOUS....Your Thanksgiving Menu

I come from an Italian family, so we have our Italian meal, antipasto, pasta, meatballs. Then after a half hour (whoever is still hungry) out comes the American meal, turkey, stuffing, potatoes, etc.  Yes its alot of food, so there are always leftovers to take home. Plus, the next day its extra time on my eliptical.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Sautéed shrimp, scallops, possibly stone crab. Whatever looks good when I go to the fish market early Wednesday morning. Field greens with the usual salad veggies and a vinaigrette dressing. Sauvignon Blanc to drink.

I absolutely detest just about everything on the traditional thanksgiving day menu.
