I agree. When she and Affleck broke up, she settled down with MA, had two kids, and seemed more settled down...until she was given the title of Most Beautiful Woman by People Magazine. That seemed to cause an abrupt change in her lifestyle. Soon she dumped Marc and immediately took up with someone half her age. Weird, and I agree that there are definitely some problems below the surface.

He had to be available for the next few months and be willing to latch himself to her in the middle of a scandal.

They went through dozens of candidates in the past few days, but the pickings were very slim. They had to settle, so they got who they got. That’s who she will now be fake dating for the next few months.

So, is everyone talking about her new relationship? Yes, they are! Mission accomplished!

Kudos to her PR team. Seriously. They really earned their money this week… and provided us with great entertainment."

I believe it - makes sense to me too!

I, too, think she's a better comedic actress than singer or dancer. Two of my favorites are The Wedding Planner and Maid in Manhattan too. I wish she'd do more romantic comedies!

I wouldn't call JLo a marginal talent. She works hard -- highest paid reality host, film actress, film producer, recordings.

I wouldn't dismiss Marc Anthony -- he seems to have a knack for attracting stunning women, so maybe if I met him, I'd understand.

However ... I remember hearing that filming Out of Sight with George Clooney, George hated her. Who knows why.

Different strokes, ennui... hard working, well paid, and a successful career doesn't always equate to meaningful talent in my book. Having seen her show and a few of her films, I'll stick with my opinion that she's been more lucky and yes, perhaps hard working, than significantly talented... and surely, she's made some useful connections along the way that didn't hurt...

I agree with Jules. She has money and access to whatever she needs to look as good as she does. She didn't always look like she does now. I would say she had had the help of good PS along the way. I also agree with gazelle in that she never seems to stay single for less than a minute. She's on the go all the time and I feel sorry for her kids. She never seems to spend time with them. Sometimes as a mom you have to stop focusing so much on yourself and focus on your children. From what I have read about her the kids are basically raised by a nanny.
