To me, Aja Naomi King had the most glamorous look overall-- it's timeless, and yet she brings her own contemporary beauty to a feeling of "old Hollywood" at its best.

They each have something lovely.  Not all the Cannes turnouts were this charming, so I didn't post those;  but in my opinion, the Cannes award show overall seems more tasteful than some others.

I wish I could explain the normally svelte Helen Mirren!  This event was in the spring, @teganslaw ,  so your guess, although it was a good one, can't be the reason.  She must have been in a kooky mood--  she's always been kind of devil-may-care, from the time she was very young...

For jewelry alone, Carla Bruni's sapphires are so gorgeous.  But she also has a confidence and naturalness in the way she sports them....  Have always loved her style.
