Wondering if anyone is having trouble with the JCP website or if it is some setting on my desktop computer.
The pages load, but I cannot scroll down to read reviews before the page jumps back to the top. I've tried a number of ways to hold the page, but it continues to jump to the top.
Also have trouble selecting colors/sizes and adding any item to the shopping bag.
It's so annoying!
They have a note about "accessibility" at the top of the page, and I selected that, but it didn't really change anything.
Any suggestions?

Probably not your computer. Their website has long been awful. A major retail website even worse than this one, if you can imagine, and their business is also struggling... In today's marketplace, a well functioning website should be a given...

It's Black Friday weekend and retailer's websites are jammed. I had problems with ShopLC's website yesterday. They had 40% on online sales. I wasn't even sure that my order processed until I checked at 6am this morning.

It's not just today this has happened, but been going on for weeks.
I suspect it is how their page loads, but it's driven me off the site.
If I am scrolling down to read something, I don't want the page to keep jumping to the top. It's insufferable to spend more than few seconds with this going on.

JCP has one of the clunkiesf website interfaces I've encountered. I don't browse there as often because of the issues with loading, reloading. They have totally missed the mark here and would be a valuable place to start to help improve their longevity. There's really no excuse for it in this day and age.

I agree.
I finally managed to order a few Monet pins today -- they have a lovely selection for next to nothing!
However, the whole process, which should have taken minutes, kept be wrangling for nearly an hour. I also was ordering a cowl neck top, but it kept defaulting to pick up rather than ship to home. I couldn't find ANY reason for it and, finally, just deleted the item.
If I had not really wanted the pins, I'd have just let it all go. As it is, I won't be visiting/buying any time soon.
Just impossible. Imagine the $$ they are losing because of this! Guess they don't care.
