@gmkb

I think of Victoria, Canada as the "citified" version of the Hallmark show, Cedar Cove.  The surrounding scenery is as beautiful.

I have been to Victoria for just a day trip, and expect to go back one day for a longer time.

It's clean and lovely and simply seeing the flower baskets hanging from the light poles is almost worth the trip.

Not to mention the Empress Hotel with afternoon tea and also the Butchart Gardens.

I was so fortunate to have visited Africa.  It was truly unbelievable.  The people are spiritual and physically beautiful as well.  We did a safari and I am still in awe of the scenery.  It was the trip of a lifetime.

I've always wanted to go to Iceland and see that Jennifer Coffey just vacationed there according to her Facebook posts.  So cool.  (Is that a pun?)

I was wondering if some of you had a favorite vacation spot or two you have not yet visited.

Wow! Yes, Iceland would be a great place to visit! As for DH and myself, we have 6 main places/trips we'd like to take someday after he retires...our bucket list of sorts...LOL

Katmai National Park and see the Grizzlies up close during this time of year...

An Alaskan cruise with one of those 7-10 day train rides in that area...around NW Canada too.

A Norwegian cruise to see the Northern Lights...

Costa Rica...to see the vast variety of Hummingbird species...

All of Great Britain...Ireland, Scotland, Wales...

Morocco and Spain

Love that list, @Susan Louise

You just reminded me that a train trip across Canada is on my list.

I don't know who that is, but it definitely sounds like a cool place to go!  Any place that sounds cold appeals to me, though.  Smiley Happy

Was to Scandinavia and Iceland last year...Iceland was nice but I loved Norway and Denmark.  I had 2 destinations left on my bucket list.  In 2013 I crossed South Africa and safaris off my list.  Next  year in January, we will be going to Australia, NZ and South Pacific Islands which is the end of my bucket list.

Well, time to make a new list, Greenhouse.

I would really like to go to Cuba. I will be going to Columbia next fall.
