My "nothing" is setting up January in my new planner. It is very detailed and involves lots of stickers and markers. I'm not a "sticker" person but I probably will be before 2026 is over!lstretching my comfort zone...

That's what we did too.  For some reason,

I really wanted to go out last night but

it's an hour's drive to just get to Tyler 

(a med sized city).  More time on the road

means more drunks to encounter.  I was

able to lay in bed and see a great fireworks

display, across the pond, from my phone

with the backyard security camera.

I never thought our dogs were afraid of fireworks but last night when DH brought them in (shortly after midnight), they both ran lickity split to the bedroom!  Frankie jumped on the bed, Howie couldn't.  Once they were inside, everything was fine with them.  The loud booms lasted till shortly after 1am.  I would have thought there was a ban on them this year because of how dry it is.
