I'm so thankful everyone is healthy and we were able to get together. We laughed a lot, which is good for everyone. It can be so hard for those still working to get together with, but luckily, we were able to do it yesterday.

I hope everyone had a good day too.

Now, back to the rest of our lives!! Woman LOL

We had a wonderful day too.  I see there is another early birds like me.  I've already been up tending to my kitties and started the washer.

We had a delicious dinner and lots of laughs around the table.  Yes, we are all healthy, employed and have a nice roof over our heads.  Plenty to be deeply greatful for.  My husband's parents are gone and so are mine so it is just us and the adult children and their boyfriend/girlfriends.  We did have a lovely day.  I do miss my mom and dad.

Yes, now back to the day-to-day stuff.  Of well...........

Yes! A great day. My 85 year old Mom served her last Christmas dinner in my childhood home, she will be selling it and moving to senior living in the spring! She has been in the same house for 58 years!  Bittersweet, but LOTS of love, laughter, stories and the most wonderful cookies EVER!

Yes, it was fun to spend time with people we may not see often.  Now, back to reality.

Same here. When I read/hear about some of the nastiness that goes on for so many during the holidays, it makes me SO GRATEFUL for the wonderful family I have. Believe me, I grew up with MAJOR dysfunction so when I became an adult, I took the steps to NOT have that as a part of my adult life.

I succeeded : )

Sitting in church on Christmas Eve is always the best part of the holiday. Loved hearing the organist playing all the familiar carols. The big, live Christmas tree in our little country church was so pretty this year.

Had a wonderful day yesterday with my children and grandson at my daughter's house.  So warm in N.Y. that  my son in law barbequed  filet mignon. But to be honest, I am glad it's over.  Lol.
